Baghdad:President Nizar Amedi has underscored the importance of expanding national dialogue and strengthening trust among political forces.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Media Office of the Presidency released a statement after President Nizar Amedi met with Abdul Hussein Al-Mousawi, head of the National Approach Alliance, at Al-Salam Palace in Baghdad. The statement highlighted a review of the country’s overall situation during the meeting.

The statement further mentioned that President Amedi emphasized broadening the scope of national dialogue and enhancing trust among political forces as essential steps toward establishing a responsible national partnership. These efforts are seen as vital for addressing challenges, consolidating political stability, and supporting the development of state institutions to fulfill citizens’ aspirations.

Abdul Hussein Al-Mousawi, head of the National Approach Alliance, praised President Amedi’s efforts to support national consensus. He affirmed the alliance’s commitment to achieving understandings that foster joint action among national forces, which would positively impact the country’s overall situation.
