Baghdad: President Nizar Amidi departed Baghdad for the Islamic Republic of Iran to participate in the funeral ceremonies for the late Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. During his visit, Amidi is scheduled to meet with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and a number of officials to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries and their friendly peoples.
