Baghdad: President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid met with Abdul Hussein al-Moussawi, head of the National Nahj Alliance, to discuss ongoing dialogues aimed at reaching agreements on fulfilling constitutional obligations within their designated timeframes.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a presidential statement indicated that the President met with al-Moussawi on Wednesday. At the beginning of the meeting, the President congratulated al-Moussawi on his election as head of the National Nahj Alliance and on the successful democratic process of holding parliamentary elections.

The meeting also addressed the latest developments on the political scene and the ongoing dialogues aimed at forming a government capable of meeting the priorities of the next phase and consolidating political stability. Emphasis was placed on the necessity of integrating efforts among national forces and prioritizing the public interest.

The discussions highlighted the importance of continuing constructive dialogue to support the democratic process and contribute to reform and development plans.
