Baghdad: President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid has underscored the significance of Kirkuk Governorate as a model of diversity and coexistence among its various communities. He emphasized the necessity of enhancing services, infrastructure, and expanding development projects that have a direct impact on citizens’ lives.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a presidential statement detailed that during a meeting with Kirkuk Governor Ribar Taha in Baghdad, the President urged collaboration with a sense of national responsibility. He highlighted the importance of coordination between the federal and local governments to improve services for the people of Kirkuk. The President also called for the efficient and transparent use of available resources and local capabilities to build trust between citizens and state institutions, which is crucial for the stability and prosperity of Kirkuk.

The statement further revealed that the meeting covered discussions on the overall service, administrative, and security situation in the governorate, along with strategies to enhance services and support development initiatives.
