Baghdad: President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid emphasized Iraq’s unique religious and humanitarian attributes, presenting it as a model of brotherhood and diversity during a visit to Ayatollah Sayyid Hussein Ismail al-Sadr in Kadhimiya.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the presidential visit involved discussions on the country’s overall situation, with a focus on enhancing national unity and promoting values of tolerance and coexistence among Iraq’s populace. President Rashid highlighted the necessity for collective efforts to safeguard national achievements and ensure security and stability in the current phase.

Sayyid Hussein Ismail Al-Sadr expressed appreciation for President Rashid’s visit and his commitment to engaging with religious and national leaders. He commended the President’s efforts to foster national unity, facilitate dialogue among political and social groups, uphold constitutional respect, and maintain the independence of authorities. Al-Sadr also praised the President’s dedication to addressing the concerns of all citizens through a comprehensive national discourse.
