Baghdad: President Nizar Amedi affirmed today that during the Arba'een of Imam Hussein, we recall the values of truth, justice, and sacrifice that he embodied, and we draw inspiration from his life for patience, steadfastness, and working for humanity and its dignity.

According to Iraqi News Agency, in a post on the X platform, President Amedi emphasized the enduring nature of Imam Hussein's message, highlighting its call for reform, the rejection of injustice, and adherence to principles. He stated, "During the Arba'een of Imam Hussein, we recall the values of truth, justice, and sacrifice that he embodied, and we draw inspiration from his life for patience, steadfastness, and working for humanity and its dignity. His message remains alive because it was a call for reform, the rejection of injustice, and adherence to principles."

President Amedi also addressed the current challenges, urging the strengthening of national unity and prioritizing the national interest to build a state governed by law and justice that preserves the dignity of all Iraqis. He expressed appreciation for the security forces, volunteers, health and service personnel, and all those involved in serving and securing the visitors during this occasion. Additionally, he extended his gratitude to the millions of visitors to the holy city of Karbala, praying for their safety and the protection of all Iraqis from harm.
