Baghdad: President Nizar Amidi affirmed today that during the Arba'een of Imam Hussein, the values of truth, justice, and sacrifice are remembered and serve as inspiration for patience, steadfastness, and a commitment to humanity and dignity.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, President Amidi stated in a post on the X platform that Imam Hussein's message remains alive as it calls for reform, the rejection of injustice, and adherence to principles. The President emphasized the importance of these values in facing current challenges and responsibilities by strengthening national unity, prioritizing national interest, and building a state governed by law and justice to preserve the dignity of all Iraqis.

He extended his appreciation to the security forces, volunteers, health, and service personnel, and everyone participating in serving the pilgrims and securing the occasion. President Amidi also saluted the millions of pilgrims visiting the holy city of Karbala, asking for their protection and the protection of all Iraqis from harm and evil.
