Baghdad: President Nizar Amidi welcomed the Charg© d’Affaires of the United States Embassy, Joshua Harris, on the occasion marking the conclusion of his tenure in Iraq. The meeting underscored the commitment of Iraq to deepen its relations with the United States and explore expanded areas of bilateral cooperation, as framed by the Strategic Framework Agreement between the two nations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, President Amidi expressed his sincere appreciation for the efforts made by Harris during his tenure in Iraq and extended his best wishes for Harris’s future endeavors.

Joshua Harris, in response, conveyed his gratitude to President Amidi for the support and collaboration he experienced during his assignment in Iraq. He stressed the significance of continuing collaborative efforts to enhance the relationship between Iraq and the United States and to expand the scope of cooperation to serve mutual interests.
