Baghdad:President of the Republic, Nizar Amidi, emphasized the importance of continued dialogue among political forces to fulfill legislative obligations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, President Amidi received a delegation from the Badr parliamentary bloc at the Peace Palace in Baghdad. The meeting, which included members of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) parliamentary bloc, focused on recent general developments in the country and legislative priorities for the future.

The President highlighted that legislation should address the actual needs of citizens and improve living conditions. He also stressed the importance of sustained dialogue and mutual understanding among political forces to create an environment conducive to fulfilling legislative obligations within the constitutional framework.

Members of the delegation praised the President’s efforts to foster communication among political forces and affirmed their commitment to advancing the legislative agenda and enacting laws that meet citizens’ needs and align with current requirements.
