President of Iraq Emphasizes Strengthening Ties with Kuwait


Baghdad: The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, affirmed Iraq’s keenness to develop relations with Kuwait. The media office of the President of the Republic stated in a statement that “The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received in Baghdad, the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Iraq, Hassan Muhammad Al-Zaman, and during the meeting, ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries were discussed.”



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the President of the Republic emphasized Iraq’s intention to expand economic cooperation with Kuwait, highlighting the investment opportunities available in Iraq. He also mentioned the importance of increasing international efforts to improve security and stability both regionally and globally.



In response, the Ambassador of Kuwait underlined the strong historical ties between Iraq and Kuwait, expressing the State of Kuwait’s commitment to broadening bilateral cooperation in various sectors.
