Baghdad: President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid emphasized the independence of Iraq's decision-making process and its commitment to maintaining this course.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, President Rashid stated in an interview with France 24 that Iraq is a sovereign nation, with decisions firmly in the hands of the Iraqi state. He expressed a desire to preserve this independence and continue fostering positive relations with all countries.

He further elaborated that Iraq's decision-making is grounded in its sovereignty, underscoring that for both the government and the people, maintaining Iraq's independence is paramount now and in the future.
