Baghdad President of the Republic Abdul Latif Rashid affirmed that climate change has become a global threat and our country is one of the countries most affected by climate changes.
In his tweet, Rashid said, “Climate change has become a global threat, and our country is one of the countries most affected by climate change and its repercussions of drought, desertification and water scarcity.”
He added, “We will work with our partners and friends at the #COP27 climate summit to address environmental problems and restore life to our rivers, farms and forests for the sake of future generations.”
