BAGHDAD: The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, is set to travel to Azerbaijan tomorrow to attend the United Nations Climate Summit (COP29) in Baku.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the visit is in response to an official invitation from Azerbaijani President Ilham Heydar Aliyev. The President will be accompanied by a governmental delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein, Minister of Health Saleh al-Hasnawi, and Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Agriculture, Water and Marshes Faleh al-Khazali, along with other officials and advisors.
