Baghdad: President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid met with Minister of Trade Atheer al-Ghurairi to discuss the economic and trade situation in Iraq. A presidential statement indicated that the President received Minister of Trade Atheer al-Ghurairi on Thursday, who began the meeting by offering condolences to the President on the death of his brother, Shamal Jamal Rashid, expressing sympathy to the family of the deceased.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, they also discussed the latest developments in the economic and trade situation in Iraq. Emphasis was placed on the importance of strengthening economic stability, developing the trade sector, and protecting consumers, as well as continuing efforts to boost national economic growth and enhance Iraq's trade position.
