Baghdad: President Abdul Latif Rashid underscored the necessity of completing essential preparations for the upcoming elections during a meeting with Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari at Baghdad Palace. The discussions focused on the ongoing arrangements to organize the electoral process and the measures needed to ensure its success, thereby reinforcing the country’s democratic path.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, President Rashid highlighted the importance of creating a secure and stable environment that allows citizens to exercise their constitutional right to vote freely and transparently. He emphasized the Interior Ministry’s critical role in safeguarding polling stations and ensuring the voting process is secure through a comprehensive security plan in Baghdad and other provinces.
