Baghdad: President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid stressed the importance of benefiting from solid international expertise in the transportation sector. The Presidency’s Media Office reported that “President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid received Minister of Transport Razzaq Muhaibis today, Wednesday, at Al-Salam Palace in Baghdad, to discuss issues related to the country’s transportation sector.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the President highlighted “the need to adopt means to improve the status of this important sector and contribute to keeping pace with the developments witnessed worldwide in this field, stressing the importance of benefiting from solid international expertise in this regard and providing the best services to citizens.”

For his part, Minister Muhaibis provided a detailed explanation of the ministry’s work and its future plans to develop the transportation sector in all its aspects, in addition to improving the services provided to citizens.
