Baghdad: Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zubaidi is set to travel to the United States next week, where he will address the United Nations General Assembly in New York. During his visit, he will also meet with US President Donald Trump.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, government spokesman Haider al-Aboudi announced that the Prime Minister’s visit includes a comprehensive schedule with meetings involving various heads of state. Al-Aboudi emphasized that September 30th will serve as a pivotal moment, signifying a shift in the relationship between Iraq and the United States towards long-term economic cooperation.
