Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ al-Sudani and President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid highlighted the importance of addressing constitutional requirements to establish a government that can advance the development process and achieve economic progress. The two leaders met to discuss the situation in the country and the region, focusing on enhancing national unity and supporting governmental measures to strengthen Iraq’s role in the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting underscored the government’s commitment to a balanced foreign policy and emphasized dialogue as a means to resolve crises and promote regional security and stability. Al-Sudani and Rashid reiterated the necessity of fulfilling constitutional obligations to form a government capable of driving development and economic revival, aligning with the aspirations of the Iraqi people in the upcoming phase.
