According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting took place on the sidelines of the emergency Arab-Islamic summit held in Doha. The two leaders expressed their commitment to ongoing coordination and consultation with other nations, particularly in response to the swift regional developments. They emphasized the importance of implementing the outcomes of the Arab Summit in Baghdad and the emergency Arab-Islamic summit in Doha. Their discussions highlighted the need to support regional stability and maintain the territorial integrity and sovereignty of countries in the region.
The statement from the Prime Minister’s media office further elaborated on the talks, noting that both leaders explored ways to enhance bilateral relations and address common regional challenges. They expressed a desire to advance the bilateral partnership to more sustainable levels across all fields.
