Baghdad: The Prime Minister and Speaker of Parliament, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and Haibat al-Halbousi, respectively, highlighted the critical need for integrated efforts between the legislative and executive branches to address prevailing challenges and ensure the country’s stability.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Prime Minister’s Media Office detailed a meeting between al-Sudani and al-Halbousi, where they discussed the country’s general situation across multiple sectors. They engaged in dialogues and explored efforts needed to fulfill constitutional requirements.

The statement further explained that al-Sudani and al-Halbousi underscored the importance of collaborative work between the legislative and executive branches. Their focus is on confronting challenges, maintaining stability, and achieving development across various sectors to meet citizens’ aspirations.
