New York:Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi met with Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa during the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the meeting focused on regional and international developments, exploring ways to enhance bilateral relations across various sectors in line with mutual interests. The leaders also discussed ongoing efforts to promote de-escalation and reduce tensions in the region.
