Dhi Qar: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani concluded his visit to Dhi Qar Governorate, where he launched several strategic projects and assessed ongoing developments in the region.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister’s Media Office released a statement detailing the key aspects of the visit. A significant highlight was the initiation of work on three major projects: the Integrated Medical City Project in Nasiriyah, designed to accommodate 700 beds; the Nasiriyah Combined Power Plant Project; and an infrastructure project for the Souq al-Shuyukh District.
During his visit, al-Sudani also visited Ur Tourist City to review the progress of its projects. He chaired a meeting with the provincial council’s head and members, which was attended by several House of Representatives members from Dhi Qar. Additionally, meetings were held with the heads of service departments, the service effort team, and leaders of the province’s security formations and agencies.
The statement further highlighted that al-Sudani conducted a field tour of Nasiriyah International Airport to monitor the progress of work and assess completion rates.
