Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani affirmed on Monday that the government has set its priorities to correct the chronic neglect, mismanagement, failure, and delay in providing services, stressing that the government will not stop or falter in the face of various challenges.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister made this statement on his social media account, highlighting the government’s commitment to addressing long-standing issues. He emphasized that enforcing the law and strengthening the state’s power and prestige is a non-negotiable issue.
Prime Minister al-Sudani further stated that there is no place for anyone attempting to violate the law or infringe upon citizens’ rights. He warned against those lacking a state-building project and who only offer misleading and empty slogans.
Al-Sudani concluded his statement by affirming, “We will not stop, nor will we retreat, nor will we make excuses in the face of various challenges. Work is our motto, and service and achievement are our goals.”
