Prime Minister Engages with Iraqi Media Network Chief to Enhance Media Capabilities


Baghdad: Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi met with the head of the Iraqi Media Network (IMN), Karim Hammadi, on Thursday to discuss ways to support the network and develop its capabilities.



According to Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister’s Media Office stated in a press release that the meeting focused on the current state of Iraqi media and the network’s role in keeping pace with the nation’s progress. The discussion emphasized strengthening the national media message to better convey facts to the public and support reconstruction and development efforts.



The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of enhancing the performance of media institutions, improving the quality of media content, and fostering professionalism and objectivity. These improvements are deemed necessary to align with societal aspirations and the requirements of the forthcoming phase.



The dialogue also explored strategies to bolster the network’s capabilities, ensuring it can effectively serve as the official media institution representing the state.
