Basra: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ al-Sudani inaugurated the Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) unit at the Al-Shuaiba refinery in Basra, with a capacity of 55,000 barrels per day.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the newly inaugurated unit is expected to significantly enhance the refinery’s output capabilities. The establishment of the FCC unit marks a notable development in the country’s refining capacity, aiming to meet both domestic and international demand more efficiently.
