Maysan: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani launched the implementation work on the Maysan Refinery Development Project, expanding its refining capacity from 40,000 to 110,000 barrels per day.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the project is a significant step in bolstering the country’s oil refining capabilities. The expansion aims to meet growing domestic energy needs and reduce reliance on imported petroleum products.
