Prime Minister of Iraq Discusses Bilateral Relations with Libyan Presidency Council Chairman


Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani received a phone call from Chairman of the Libyan Presidency Council, Mohammed Younis al-Menfi. During the conversation, the leaders explored ways to enhance bilateral relations and joint cooperation to benefit the citizens of Iraq and Libya. They also covered a range of international and regional topics of mutual concern.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Sudani outlined Iraq’s strategy for fostering integration and strengthening connections to advance joint Arab initiatives. These efforts were highlighted during the Baghdad Summit, which introduced several initiatives across political, developmental, economic, social, and security sectors aimed at benefiting Arab nations.



Al-Menfi expressed his congratulations to al-Sudani for successfully hosting the 34th Arab Summit in Baghdad and the fifth Arab Development Summit. He commended Iraq for its leadership roles in both events and recognized the efforts made to address Arab issues and promote stability in the region.
