Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani affirmed the government’s continued support for professional unions and federations. His media office released a statement regarding a meeting held on Tuesday with Sadiq Jaafar al-Muhammadawi, the head of the Agricultural Engineers Syndicate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister used the occasion to congratulate all agricultural engineers on Eid al-Adha. He emphasized the ongoing support of the government for professional unions and federations, acknowledging their crucial role in aiding government development plans and programs. The Prime Minister noted that the competencies within these unions and federations are instrumental in enhancing the capabilities of the relevant executive agencies.

The statement highlighted the government’s keen interest in the agricultural sector, underscoring its commitment to providing the necessary resources for its advancement.
