Baghdad: The Security Advisor to the Prime Minister, Qasim al-Araji, attended the opening ceremony of the Euphrates Center for Strategic Studies and Research on Saturday. Al-Araji emphasized the importance of a close partnership between think tanks, research centers, and the security establishment, underlining the necessity of providing security agencies with specialized studies and research to enhance their field and intelligence capabilities, support law enforcement efforts, and improve stability.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Araji highlighted that providing modern strategic visions to security agencies strengthens their readiness to confront challenges and dangers. He affirmed that the activation of think tanks and strategic development centers is a significant addition to discussions on national and regional issues and challenges, contributing to the development of scientific and sustainable solutions.

The ceremony took place under the auspices of the head of the Reconstruction and Development Coalition and head of the Euphrates Party, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani. It was attended by numerous diplomatic, academic, political, and intellectual figures.
