Samarra: The General Company for the Management of Private Transport has announced a comprehensive plan to facilitate transportation for visitors to Samarra during the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hassan al-Askari (AS). This initiative is aimed at ensuring seamless travel for pilgrims participating in the commemoration.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Transport released a statement highlighting the preparations made under the guidance of the company’s Director General, Ahmed Karim Abdul Ayoub al-Moussawi. He stated, “The plan includes operating buses and other transport vehicles from Baghdad and the provinces towards Samarra around the clock, in coordination with security and traffic authorities to avoid congestion and ensure the smooth flow of pilgrims.”
Al-Moussawi further explained that the strategy involves deploying field detachments and mobile teams at key garages and checkpoints. These teams will assist pilgrims and guide drivers, prioritizing the comfort and service quality during the pilgrimage. The initiative reflects the company’s dedication to providing exceptional services throughout the commemoration period.
