Cairo: A faculty member at the College of Media at the Iraqi University participated in an international conference entitled “Women’s Issues in the Eyes of Society.” Professor Dr. Hassan Sarmad Munir joined the Third International Conference organized by the International Academy for Training – Egypt, where he collaborated with researchers and academics from various Arab countries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the conference featured the presentation and discussion of several scientific papers. These papers explored women’s issues from media, social, legal, and educational perspectives, emphasizing contemporary challenges and strategies for addressing them using scientific insights.

Dr. Hassan Sarmad contributed a scientific paper titled “The Role of Digital Algorithms in Shaping Public Awareness of Women’s Issues via Social Media: A Field Study.” His research focused on how digital algorithms and filtering mechanisms influence public knowledge and attitudes toward women’s issues on social media platforms, supported by the findings of a field study.
