Sana’a: A prominent figure in the Houthi intelligence service, Abdul Nasser Al-Kamali, was reportedly killed during a US raid in Yemen. Local Yemeni sources have confirmed the death of Al-Kamali, marking a significant development in the ongoing conflict in the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Houthi-affiliated media outlets have confirmed that the United States recently carried out a series of raids on several areas within Yemen. These strikes targeted strategic locations across the governorates of Sana’a, Hodeidah, and Marib, impacting regions such as the capital, Jarban in Sanhan District, Al-Jumaymah Bani Hashish, Kamaran Island, and the Majzar District.

In a related development on Monday evening, the Houthis announced an attack on a military site in Israel using a drone, alongside an assault on two American destroyers in the Red Sea with multiple cruise missiles and drones. This announcement came shortly after the Israeli army reported intercepting a drone launched from the east, which was averted before it could enter Israeli airspace.

The conflict in Houthi-controlled regions of Yemen has intensified, witnessing almost daily strikes attributed to the United States since March 15. The US air campaign aims to pressure the Houthis into ceasing attacks on ships that they allege are linked to Israel. In response, the Houthis have continued to launch attacks on US warships and Israel, citing their actions as a show of solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza.
