Kut Hundreds of residents of Wasit Governorate demonstrated and closed a number of main streets in the city of Kut in protest against the deteriorating general conditions in the country.

Faleh al-Moussawi, one of the protesters, told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that this escalating step comes in solidarity with the protesters from the rest of the provinces over the poor services and the deterioration of the political reality, adding that the protesters will continue to demonstrate and protest until their demands are achieved.
