Baghdad: Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf revealed the reasons behind the recent decline in the number of Iranian missiles targeting Israel and US bases in the region. He stated that Iranian attacks are now executed with fewer missiles but have achieved greater success, indicating the decline of their defenses.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Ghalibaf asserted, "The Iron Dome system is no longer what it once was. We will strike wherever we choose. We no longer need to fire with the same intensity as during the twelve-day war. We will launch fewer missiles, but they will be more effective and precise." He elaborated that Iran had a specific plan for this conflict and has been executing it over the past ten days with precision and adherence to schedule.

Ghalibaf emphasized that the United States has become a puppet in Netanyahu's hands, initiating the war based on flawed perceptions. He mentioned that neighboring countries have facilitated negotiations, and relations with them remain friendly. Some have even pledged to restrain American movements on their territories.

He further indicated that targeting non-military centers and infrastructure is a result of their desperation. He warned that if such targeting continues, Iran will respond in kind without hesitation.

The Iranian authorities threatened on Sunday evening to attack oil facilities throughout the Middle East in retaliation for similar attacks by Israel and the United States. The spokesman for the Khatm al-Anbiya Central Headquarters confirmed that if the attacks on Iranian infrastructure do not cease, equivalent measures will be taken.

This development comes as the conflict enters its ninth day, with Washington and Tel Aviv continuing to target Iran while Iran retaliates against Israel and American interests in the region.
