Baghdad:The National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister, Qasim al-Araji, emphasized the significance of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) as an official security institution committed to defending Iraq and its citizens.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Araji met with Jabbar al-Haidari, Commander of the 17th Brigade of the PMF, where they discussed recent security developments. The meeting also focused on the need for enhanced coordination and integration among security units to strengthen national security and stability.

Al-Araji reiterated the PMF’s role in safeguarding Iraq, highlighting their sacrifices and stressing the importance of coordinated efforts in security and intelligence operations to support Iraq’s sovereignty and stability.
