Qatar Announces Breakdown in US-Iran Agreement Talks

Baghdad:Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, announced on Friday evening that the United States and Iran have failed to reach a “complete agreement.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al Thani emphasized that both sides should aim for a good agreement instead of striving for a “perfect” one.

Amidst these developments, there is growing anticipation about the potential resumption of military confrontation between the United States and Iran. This comes as US President Donald Trump has indicated that he will decide “soon” on whether to proceed with launching new strikes. The announcement coincides with the US Central Command completing preparations for the resumption of combat operations, alongside ongoing diplomatic efforts led by Qatar to facilitate understandings between Washington and Tehran.
