Doha: Qatari Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani emphasized the importance of addressing the root causes of discord among countries in the region. He stated that ensuring lasting security requires collaborative efforts to eliminate tensions, underscoring that no single state should pose a threat to others.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al Thani remarked that the region had experienced significant upheaval, which he described as an “earthquake.” He highlighted that the repercussions of these events were felt beyond the region’s immediate vicinity, affecting global perceptions of security and stability.

Al Thani further elaborated that recent regional events challenged assumptions about security frameworks and stability. He noted that discussions during the crisis consistently began with security considerations before transitioning to matters concerning energy supplies and shipping.
