Doha: Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, confirmed on Tuesday that the plan proposed by US President Donald Trump aims to end the war in Gaza, but it includes issues that require further clarification and negotiation.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Qatari Prime Minister indicated in a press statement that while stopping the war is a clear clause in the plan, the issue of withdrawal requires additional clarifications that must be discussed.
The Qatari Prime Minister also noted that there has been no official response yet from Hamas to the plan. He emphasized that the proposal requires consensus among Palestinian factions, underscoring the need for further dialogue and agreement.
