It further clarified that discussions around "deposit differences" are misleading, as deposits are not held as raw cash but are managed through a sophisticated banking system involving loans, government bonds, and liquidity investments. The bank reiterated the absence of any signs of liquidity issues or banking panic, stating that deposits remain secure with no emergency withdrawals or operational anomalies. It underscor ed its reputation as a national asset, built not only on financial metrics but also on a deep-rooted relationship with the community. Rafidain Bank rejected comparisons with banks that have faced collapses in other countries, stressing its lack of exposure to foreign markets and speculative debts.
