Baghdad: The General Manager of Rafidain Bank, Ali Karim Al-Fatlawi, has confirmed that the Iraqi banking system is being systematically targeted by parties with political agendas.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Fatlawi stated, “It is clear that there is a systematic targeting of the Iraqi banking system by parties with political agendas or opportunistic personal interests, seeking to present a distorted image of our national institutions by spreading rumors and providing international bodies with false and misleading information.”
He further elaborated that the partnership contract signed by Rafidain Bank with K2 Integrity acts as a professional and legal barrier, aiming to block those with malicious intentions. This partnership is set to establish clear and transparent rules for compliance and governance, ensuring that the voice of reform reaches the world rather than voices of misinformation or politicization.
Al-Fatlawi emphasized the bank’s commitment to building a modern Iraqi banking system characterized by transparency and credibility. He assured that no external agendas or narrow interests would halt the reform process, highlighting that this international partnership is a testament to integrity and trust. He conveyed a message that Rafidain Bank is leading a new path intended to elevate the Iraqi banking sector to its rightful place.
