Baghdad: The Reconstruction and Development Coalition has firmly denied reports claiming that Iraq has decided to declare Quds Force Commander Ismail Qaani as persona non grata.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Firas al-Muslawi, the official spokesperson for the coalition, clearly stated that the information broadcasted by Monte Carlo Radio is incorrect. The radio station had cited an unnamed source within the coalition, alleging that Iraq had made such a decision regarding Commander Ismail Qaani.

Al-Muslawi emphasized that the report is entirely false and unfounded, asserting that the Reconstruction and Development Coalition has not released any statement or taken any stance on this issue. He highlighted the importance of relying on the coalition’s official channels for accurate information and cautioned media outlets against depending on anonymous sources, which undermines the credibility and professionalism of news reporting.
