The General Authority for Meteorology and Seismic Monitoring at the Ministry of Transport announced that it had recorded a light earthquake of 3.1 degrees in Nineveh Governorate, 38 km south of Sinjar, at 7:37 pm today.
It stated in a statement that it was not proven that it was felt by the citizens and that there were no losses
