Baghdad: The Kurdistan Region Asayish Directorate announced on Monday that five rockets landed in Sulaymaniyah at dawn, causing no casualties.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the directorate released a statement detailing the incident, noting that “a number of areas in Sulaymaniyah Governorate were targeted by five rockets at 03:10 this morning.” The statement specified that three rockets impacted the Zargwezala area, one rocket landed near the village of Kurka Chiya in the Sirwan sub-district, and the final rocket fell between the villages of Dari Zayin and Mirasi Khwaru in the Qara Dagh district.

The directorate confirmed there were no casualties from the attacks and issued a safety advisory for residents. The statement urged citizens to “not approach the impact sites or tamper with the wreckage of the missiles and drones, in the interest of their safety.”
