Baghdad: The Minister of Migration and Displacement, Evan Faeq Jabro, announced the return of 181 displaced persons from the Sheikhan camp in Dohuk Governorate to their original homes in the Sinjar District of Nineveh Governorate. This effort was carried out in collaboration with regional authorities, local governments, and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Nineveh. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Minister emphasized the importance of supporting the returnees by including them in financial grants and relief aid programs. These initiatives aim to ensure stability and facilitate the reintegration of displaced individuals into their home communities. The return marks an ongoing effort in addressing displacement and fostering sustainable resettlement in post-conflict areas.
