Rothschild Bank Head Discusses Investment Opportunities with Iraqi Prime Minister


Paris: During a pivotal meeting in Paris, Edward de Rothschild, the head of Rothschild Bank, emphasized the significance of investment opportunities in Iraq, highlighting the role of international financial institutions in supporting Iraq’s development plans.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi’s office released a statement detailing the meeting held at al-Zaidi’s residence in the French capital. The discussions focused on enhancing Iraq’s collaboration with international banks, reviewing governmental efforts to advance the banking sector, and strategies to improve Iraq’s credit rating. Furthermore, the meeting highlighted the Iraqi government’s objectives to build a robust and diversified economy.
