Baghdad: A royal decree was issued to form the Desert Operations Command. A high-ranking security source revealed on Sunday that a decree has been issued to establish the Desert Operations Command, with the aim of enhancing security and stability in the Muthanna desert region and its surroundings.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the decree establishing the Desert Operations Command aims to bolster security and stability in the Muthanna desert and its environs, as well as to strengthen coordination and cooperation with other military units.
