Jeddah: The office of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Sunday that the Minister will travel to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Monday to discuss the possibility of achieving peace with Ukrainian officials.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the statement mentioned that Rubio will make this trip, which will last until Wednesday, “to advance President Trump’s goal of ending the war between Russia and Ukraine.”

Rubio is also scheduled to meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Jeddah. Following this meeting, the minister will head to Canada on Wednesday to hold discussions with his counterparts from other G7 countries.

Rubio’s office did not specify which officials he would meet, but Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the Ukrainian officials Rubio would meet with include his chief of staff Andriy Yermak, Foreign Minister Andriy Sipia, and Defense Minister Rustam Umerov.
