Moscow: Russia and the United States have reached an agreement on a list of Russian and Ukrainian facilities that will be temporarily safeguarded from attacks on the power grid. The list includes vital infrastructure components, reflecting a mutual commitment to reduce tensions in the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Kremlin has detailed the facilities covered by the agreement as oil refineries, oil and gas pipelines, storage facilities, including pumping stations, and electricity generation and transmission infrastructure. Specifically, this encompasses power plants, conversion stations, transformers, distributors, nuclear power plants, and hydroelectric dams.

The agreement stipulates that the temporary suspension will last for 30 days, commencing on March 18. There is an option for this period to be extended, should both parties reach a consensus. The agreement also contains a provision stating that if either party breaches the suspension terms, the other party reserves the right to consider itself released from its obligations under the agreement.
