Russia Announces Control of Tarasovka in Eastern Ukraine


Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday that its forces had taken control of a new town in eastern Ukraine over the past 24 hours, eliminating 810 soldiers and shooting down 166 drones. The ministry stated in a statement that as a result of active actions by units of the “South” group, the town of Tarasovka in the Donetsk region was taken.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry revealed that its forces targeted Ukrainian military units in several areas in the Donetsk, Sumy, Luhansk, and Kharkiv regions. This operation resulted in the killing and wounding of 810 soldiers and the destruction of a number of armored combat vehicles, personnel carriers, vehicles, field guns, ammunition depots, and electronic warfare stations.
