Russia Claims Control Over Berezovoye in Eastern Ukraine and Downs 383 Drones


Moscow: Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday that its forces had captured a new town in eastern Ukraine, eliminating 1,450 soldiers, while its air defenses shot down 383 drones.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry stated in a statement that its units had advanced deep into Ukrainian defenses and taken control of the town of Berezovoye in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. It noted that Russian forces had targeted Ukrainian armed forces in 151 areas along the front lines, resulting in the loss of 1,450 Ukrainian soldiers and dozens of combat vehicles, artillery, ammunition depots, and electronic warfare stations.



It added that Russian operational and tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces, and artillery targeted transportation infrastructure centers and facilities used by Ukrainian forces, as well as storage and launch sites for long-range drones.
